JEE (Main) May 2021 Exam Postponed – Announces Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal
Due to the prevailing situation of Coronavirus in the country, the Government of India has now postponed the JEE (Main) May 2021. The May 2021 session’s exams were earlier scheduled to be held between 24th – 28th May 2021; however, the Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal announced the postponement of the exam through a tweet from his official Twitter handle on Tuesday.
“Looking at the present situation of COVID-19 and keeping students safety in mind, JEE (Main) – May 2021 session has been postponed. Students are advised to keep visiting the official website of NTA for further updates,” said Pokhriyal in his tweet.
The information is also available in a Public Release on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA), India. The notice confirms the postponement of the JEE (Main) May 2021 exam due to the Covid-19 situation in the country. It also states that the revised dates for the registration of the May Session will be intimated later on, and the exam dates will be announced at least 15 days before the exam.
“The JEE (Main) – 2021 May session is earlier scheduled on 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 May 2021. Keeping the present situation in mind, the JEE (Main) – 2021 May session is also being postponed. The revised dates for the May Session will be intimated later on and will be announced at least 15 days before the exam. The registration for the May Session will also be announced at a later stage. The rescheduling of the April and May sessions will be done subsequently,” read the Public Notice released by NTA.
It has also advised the students to keep visiting the official websites of NTA (www.nta.ac.in) and (jeemain.nta.nic.in) for the latest updates.
