The competitive examination comprise three successive stages viz :
(1) Preliminary COMPUTER BASED RECRUITMENT TEST (Objective Type & Multiple choice).
2- Competitive Written Examination (Objective and Subjective both).
3- Viva- Voce (Personality Test).

Preliminary Test: One paper objective type and of 90 marks


    1. Paper I: General Knowledge and General Science: 100 mins : 90 questions

Marking Pattern:

  1. Total Marks: 90 marks

  2. Total Duration: 100 minutes (increased by 10 minutes)

  3. Question Answered Correctly…… (1 mark)

  4. Question not Attempted………….. (0 Mark)

  5. Question Answered Wrongly…… (minus- 0.5 Mark)

Passing Cutoff Percentage:

  1. General Category……………… 65% i.e. 58.5 marks out of 90

  2. *OBC Category…………………. 60% i.e. 54 marks out of 90

  3. *ST Category……………………. 55% i.e. 49.5 marks out of 90

  4. * The candidates belonging to OBC, ST category of other States will be treated as General Category.

  5. Only those candidates who pass the screening test with a minimum of the above percentage in their respective categories will be invited to answer the competitive written examination.
